For such a long time I couldn’t imagine going a month or two or nearly five with out updating this site regularly.

To not read up on my friends and friends of theirs and countless strangers whose blog I happened to stumble upon, let alone not even turn on a computer.

I know that I am not going to stop posting here, I just needed some time to step away.

To be able to dodge all the of shit balls life has been trying to toss our way lately.

And just when I think things are back to normal and I can update you about how Giggles is driving and The Chicken is nearly as tall as I am, my world unravels just a bit more and makes me want to spend more time with my family letting them know just how important they are to me.

To put it mildly. This stinks.

I know that there is a life after this one & if anyone deserved eternal happiness there Tammy & Tommy surely do.

While I haven’t talked with Tammy in years, I knew that someday we would run into each other and give kid updates and talk about how it’s been forever and then maybe go to lunch or something.

That’s not going to happen now.

Now I think of Tom & Danielle as they fight for their lives not knowing that a huge chunk of their lives aren’t on this earth anymore.

I pray.

I wonder.

It’s all we can do.
