Hi there, welcome to Domestic Extraordinaire!
My name is Heather and I’m a thirty-something organizationally challenged wife, mother, and photographer living in a suburb west of Cleveland, Ohio. We like to pretend we are in a rock band and pose for album covers. (Okay maybe we don’t but we just might make a tradition out of it.)
I have been married to my high school sweetheart since February of 1995. He joined the Navy when we found out we were expecting out oldest daughter, Giggles, and we traveled all over the country, eventually coming back to Northeastern Ohio in December of 2000.
Giggles is sixteen and is a sophomore in high school. She loves horses and works very hard to be able to ride and show. She is also the driving force behind our unlimited texting package.
The Chicken is nearly thirteen and a seventh grader. She loves her new puppy and playing basketball. She is a mini me, as I am recognized by random people that I don’t know as The Chicken’s mom.
I started this blog in December 2007 because I wanted to leave a comment for another blogger for a knitting pattern she posted. I blog about life. I try to keep it real so you will hear about my fibromyalgia, my depression, and even my crazy childhood. I am a photographer so you are going to see lots of photos that may or may not have anything to do with what I am writing about. I hope you enjoy them.
When I am not taking photos, driving my children here and there, or answering questions like “How are you old enough to have a daughter who can drive?” or “Do you really think that people want to read about your life in the internet?” I am writing over here at Aiming Lo
