Holy Batman…two posts in one day!?!!?!?!?

That’s right kiddies….as I was editing photos I came across my finished Evangalines from MagKnits. These were knit by me, the yarn was spun by me and sadly the mitts were rejected by me….they were beautiful but boy did they itch! Sorry the lighting isn’t the best….it was on a basketball court when Giggles did a Foul Shot Shootoff. She tied another girl, but lost in the shootout. Too bad Giggles…maybe next time.

  1. I think they look uber cool! Nice work. Sorry they were itchy, though.

  2. Oooh those are gorgeous… too bad they itched! Ugh, that sucks… ha ha, funny that it was a real word, that’s just weird. I hate those things because I’m just dyslexic enough that I can’t read them.

Ha ha, I don’t know that you’re going to hit yourself. Give you a hint, it’s something I don’t have going on right now, but like something I’ve done in the past and LOVED. And I’ve blogged about the yarn. I think. Probably. Maybe. :) Ok that doesn’t help, does it? lol

  3. Ooooh yeah, and sorry giggles… maybe next time. In fact, probably next time. :)

  4. Thanks! I am making myself a new pair out of alpaca, which I know I am can touch. That will be my take with me project for the day.

  5. They look lovely! Maybe you can sew in a liner…fleece…so they would be more comfy? They look beautiful!

Your scavenger hunt pal wants to know: would you get use out of multiple pairs of fingerless gloves?

Those evangeline look so lovely, it’s a shame they’re itchy. Have you tried taming them with hair conditioner?

  7. To my pal…..I would get use out of multiple fingerless gloves, I would coordinate them with outfits….and I am sure that Giggles and Chicken would steal them…LOL, if you got anything out of my blog I am sure you understand that! I never heard of taming them with hair conditioner….I will have to look into that. But both gloves are gone and so I don’t need to tame them. I think that they had mohair and angora in the blend….and I am allergic to both. Oh well, I am knitting an alpaca pair for myself currently. Once I finish my hat I will start the other glove
