Fibro is kicking my butt today

For those of you who don’t know I suffer from Fibromyalgia ( I pretty sure I spelled that right, but if not….who cares, today I really don’t) I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago after 4 years of pain, misery, and limited mobility and my docs scratching their heads. Most days I take my meds and I still have pain but it is managable. But when we have this cold, icky rainy stuff that Ohio is having right now I have some serious issues. I am sore all over and feel like I have been hit by a truck or something. All of my joints ache and moving around is really a huge chore. So, after church and dropping Giggles off at my mom’s for her to pay on her endentured servatude of a cell phone deal, and Chicken at a friends to play for the afternoon. The dog and I curled up on the couch, watched “Peggy Sue got married” and I knit the left Fetching for myself out of my own homespun yarn. I have cast of for the right and we are going to eat dinner and watch “The Simpsons Movie” until it is Chicken’s bedtime. (I think it will be over by then.)

Giggles and I cleared and organized a bunch yesterday and one side of the area is looking really great. I will take pics and post them tomorrow or Tuesday depending on how I feel. Thanks for your encouraging words. Off to relax!

  1. So sorry to hear you are in pain. My niece also suffers from it … and she is really feeling it right now. It is a seriously debilitating disease on some days, isn’t it?

Glad to hear you were productive. I sat on my rear end most of yesterday in my pjs.

Which reminds me … I guess I need to get OUT of those pjs right now and take # 3 to preschool.

    Have a good one …
